Commercial Photographer in East Sussex
Product, property and interiors photography for businesses across East Sussex, from my base on the Kent/Sussex border
Good commercial photography sells. It shows a buyer exactly what they're getting, whether that's a product, a building or a business they're thinking of visiting.
I'm a commercial photographer based in Tunbridge Wells, right on the Sussex border, photographing products, property, interiors and premises for businesses across East and West Sussex and Kent. Every year I photograph the shopfront of G. Collins & Sons, the renowned Tunbridge Wells jewellers, when their Christmas decorations go up.
Before photography I spent 19 years as an electronics engineer. That eye for detail runs through everything I shoot, from a single product on white to a whole commercial site.

Property, premises and interiors
When a building is the product, the photographs need to do the selling. For the sale of Goblands Farm in Kent, I spent half a day photographing the farm and its commercial units, giving the agents a complete set of images to market the whole site.
Inside, it's about light and space. I photograph interiors so they look as good as they feel to stand in, with straight verticals, balanced light and nothing out of place. For more, see my interiors and residential construction pages.
Product photography
From consumer goods to medical equipment, product photography has one job: to show the product clearly, accurately and at its best. Most products are photographed in my studio on clean white or in a styled setting. Larger equipment I photograph on site.
I've photographed shower products for Impey, bags and accessories, and medical seating, each lit to show the materials, finish and design. See my product photography page for more examples.
Technical products and aerial photography
If you make something technical, my engineering background helps. I've photographed automation and control products for Lamonde Automation, where understanding what each component does makes for clearer images. If that's your world, my engineering photography is where most of my work sits.
For sites, land and large buildings, I add a view from above. I hold a CAA Operator ID and Flyer ID with A1/A3 certification, and carry commercial drone insurance.
